Call me Kit. I’m 19 years old and I live in Australia with my family. I’m currently undertaking a Masters of Sustainable Development. I have a Bachelor of Arts with majors in Philosophy and Classics & Ancient History.

My vocation is ethics, but I’m history buff at heart. I’m also interested in the biological sciences. I love animals, great and small. I live with a dog and a cat and I’m an amateur equestrian. I like folk and folk-rock music. These days I enjoy cooking almost as much as I enjoy eating. I find a lot of things fascinating and know way too much stuff that I’ll probably never need to.

This blog is not about anything in particular. It’s a scrapbook of the things I find interesting, entertaining or otherwise worth sharing. Some of my posts are about things that I’ve done or am doing and others are things that I’ve learnt about. Some posts are serious and others are just for fun. I don’t really know what direction this blog is going to go in; I’ll just wait and see where it takes me. Don’t hesitate to comment on anything.

I also have an blog on tumblr, where I post loose photographs, short snippets and a lot of reblogs: katakulio.tumblr.com

This blog is dedicated to my canine brother, Villy. He is teaching me the meaning of unconditional love.
