We had a very stimulating discussion about this at a friend’s house last night. I am very passionate about the support of indigenous languages and have a particular interest in the Celtic branch. Colonial legacies (and what to do with them) are also a fascinating subject. It brings to mind the latest brouhaha over Cecil Rhodes’ statue in Oxford (which Tony Abbott thought required his two cents).
